Signal Glossary
DTL Breach Warning
Price has pushed through the Demand Threshold Line (those orange bars). It flags price vulnerability
at/through that boundary for the current week.
Smart Money Buy
A “smart money” star printed on the chart. It marks concentrated, high-quality buying activity often seen ahead of stronger moves.
(We only log it when the star appears.)
Investor Buy
An “investor buy” star printed on the chart. It reflects broader, more general momentum by investors.
(Again, only logged when the star appears.)
Accumulation
A green bar (often within a negative market cycle). Each green bar signals steady, systematic buying/absorbing of supply.
Distribution
The counterpart to accumulation. It marks persistent selling/handing off of shares - supply is dominating and pressure is to the downside.
Ribbon Change
The ribbon flips color (red ↔ green). We log the first bar of a new segment, which signals a regime shift in the underlying indicator.
Threshold Breach (Buy)
The composite indicator crosses down through the dynamic Bottom threshold. It’s a “buy-side” extreme that often precedes an upward move.
Threshold Breach (Sell)
The composite indicator crosses up through the dynamic Top threshold. It’s a “sell-side” extreme that often precedes a downward move.
Baseline Crossover
The tracked metric crosses its baseline (typically zero). Crossing up suggests improving conditions; crossing down suggests deterioration.
Demand −1 Crossover
Price crosses up through the “−1 demand” reference level. It signals a possible early improvement in demand conditions after a weak phase.
Valuation Change
A change in our valuation classification (e.g., from overvalued to fairly valued). It captures a material update to the valuation state for screening.
Info Update
A notable informational event (e.g., earnings/guidance/corporate update) that we tag for the screener so you can filter around fresh developments.
ML Turned Positive
The Magic Line (smoothed activity) crosses above zero and turns positive. It indicates a shift toward constructive momentum/pressure.
ML Turned Negative
The Magic Line crosses below zero and turns negative. It indicates a shift toward weakening momentum/pressure.
