About Sharemaestro

As a web developer, I wanted to build something that allowed me to experiment, test, and push modern web technology in a real-world environment. Sharemaestro has become that environment. It is a live Django-based platform where I can explore data processing, automation, artificial intelligence, charting, financial modelling, background tasks, signal generation, reporting systems, and market analysis tools.

In many ways, Sharemaestro is a developer’s laboratory.

I have taken Django far beyond the usual website or admin dashboard use case, using it as the foundation for a full market intelligence system. The platform collects data, processes it, analyses it, generates signals, produces visual reports, and presents market information in a way that is designed to be useful, structured, and practical.

With the incorporation of AI, the project has moved even further. Sharemaestro now brings together automated market research, fundamental analysis, technical analysis, signal interpretation, and report generation. The aim is not simply to display financial data, but to turn that data into insight.

I am a retail investor who has spent a long time studying the work of investors and market thinkers such as Stan Weinstein, Richard Wyckoff, and Howard Marks. Each of them approaches the market from a different angle, but together they point towards something very important.

The market is not just a collection of prices.

It is a reflection of behaviour, risk, value, strength, weakness, fear, greed, accumulation, distribution, and opportunity.
