Weekly Market Map

Markets follow the listing exchange, not a company's headquarters. Foreign issuers can appear in more than one market. China covers CNY listings in Shanghai and Shenzhen; Hong Kong covers HKD listings separately. Austria includes foreign companies listed in Vienna.

Tile sizes are equal; they do not represent index weights. Each group’s median gives every available listing equal weight. Return period controls moves, rankings and summaries; Colour by controls the metric displayed on each tile and its filtering legend. Grey means the selected reading is unavailable. Numerical return colours stop at ±10%, while the actual reading remains visible.

Historical views use historical prices for current active listings, current sector classifications and the latest stored market caps. Research and prices may include later source corrections. They are not a point-in-time backtest. Breadth lines require 70% coverage of the selected cohort; each reading reports covered and missing listings. Turnover is weekly close × stored weekly volume, expressed in the market's major currency.

YTD uses the last completed weekly close before 1 January as its starting point. It can differ from a calendar-year return measured from the final daily close of December.

The map uses stored data and refreshes its cache within five minutes. No live data downloads are triggered by these filters.
