Direction, agreement and depth

The score describes conditions

EMD combines trend, momentum, underlying pressure, price-volume behaviour, relative strength and Modeled Trend. A score above 50 leans constructive; below 50 leans cautious. The chart expresses the same reading from −100 to +100.

Agreement is not certainty

Agreement describes how consistently the available readings point in one direction. Quality combines coverage and agreement. Neither is a probability of profit. Missing sources are excluded and reduce evidence depth.

Use price to test the interpretation

Rising EMD while price falls can flag repair to investigate. Falling EMD while price rises can flag weaker support. A cycle confirmation is an observed price event, separate from the EMD score; a range extreme does not establish a reversal.

History, ranking and limitations

The default screener ranks constructive strength and four-week improvement, adjusted for available sources. Bearish and repair views have their own filters and sorts. Only stored completed weeks are used. Newer source data can revise readings, and different share classes count as separate listings. Volume estimates describe price-volume behaviour, not identified buying or selling. Historical comparisons reconstruct readings from stored data; they are descriptive and do not establish a tested trading edge.
