This 3 Stock Portfolio Pays Monthly Dividends

While most stocks pay quarterly dividends, investors can still construct a portfolio that allows them to get paid monthly. The first stock pays dividends in January, April, July, and October. The second stock pays out in February, May, August, and November. And finally, the third stock will pay its dividend in March, June, September, and December. So, investors can reap steady monthly paydays with just a little positioning. A combination of Coca-Cola KO, Caterpillar CAT, and Exxon Mobil XOM – shares would provide precisely the blend needed for this portfolio. Caterpillar Powers Data Centers Ca

Exxon Stock Jumps 3.3% as Oil Supply Fears Return

This article first appeared on GuruFocus. Exxon Mobil (NYSE:XOM), the oil-and-gas giant with operations stretching from the Permian to Guyana and Qatar, reported a monster $14.5 billion second-quarter profit as its shares jumped roughly 3.3% Monday morning. Adjusted earnings landed at $14.7 billion, or $3.52 per share, backed by $23.6 billion of operating cash flow. But earnings are only half the story. Oil is heating up again. Brent crude climbed nearly 2% after Iran put conditions on reopening the Strait of Hormuz, throwing fresh uncertainty over a critical artery for global energy supplies.

How the page works

How to read the score

The score shows direction

It describes the weighted balance of qualifying headlines. A score of 50 can mean balanced news or that there is not enough evidence; the status label explains which.

Confidence is separate

Confidence measures depth, source breadth, direct relevance, freshness and agreement. It does not rise merely because the tone is extreme.

Price is confirmation

Weekly price response, trend and fair-value position test whether the market is accepting or rejecting the news. They never rewrite the news score.

What the page does

It measures news already published. It is not a forecast, recommendation or price target.
