The Next AI Surge: Top Quantum ETFs to Buy Amid Washington's Funding Push
As the artificial intelligence (AI) boom strains traditional silicon architectures, quantum computing is evolving from a long-term research project into an operational necessity. Processing complex neural networks, training massive AI models, and safeguarding critical infrastructure require capabilities that far exceed those of classical computing, and quantum computing promises to deliver them. This shift has catalyzed strong upward momentum for quantum stocks and exchange-traded funds (ETFs) that hold them in recent times. With the U.S. government now making historic financial commitments to

IBM, Together AI ink $240 million deal for Nvidia-powered AI inference cluster
Aug 11 (Reuters) - IBM and startup Together AI have signed a $240 million multi-year agreement to build a large-scale artificial intelligence cluster on IBM Cloud using Nvidia systems, the companies said on Tuesday. The cluster will provide inference for open-source AI models, which have gained traction as businesses seek to rein in AI costs and weigh concerns about cybersecurity incidents involving models from Anthropic, OpenAI and Meta. Inference, the process of running trained AI models to generate responses, has become one of the largest drivers of demand for computing capacity, prompting cloud providers and chipmakers to spend billions of dollars expanding AI infrastructure. The cluster on IBM Cloud will use Nvidia's HGX B300 systems, which link the chipmaker's newer Blackwell processors, and its Spectrum-X Ethernet networking gear. Nvidia has said the Blackwell chips are optimized for AI inference. San Francisco-based Together AI's platform lets companies train and run AI workloads on open models such as DeepSeek, MiniMax and Kimi at lower costs than closed systems. It was last valued at $8.3 billion in July. (Reporting by Anhata Rooprai in Bengaluru; Editing by Tasim Zahid) View Comments

The Trade Desk crash exposed a much bigger problem
The Trade Desk (TTD) has reported the kind of profits that could shift how Wall Street values a growth stock permanently. The digital-advertising company's shares plunged roughly 22% on Aug. 7, according to Barron's, falling to their lowest level since January 2019 and becoming the S&P 500's worst performer for the session. The reason went well beyond a routine earnings miss. Second-quarter revenue rose just 3% from a year earlier to $715 million, dramatically slower than the 19% growth The Trade Desk produced during the same quarter last year, Barron's noted. Wall Street had expected approxim

This Is When IBM's CEO Says Quantum Computing Could Start to Have a "Measurable Impact" on Its Bottom Line
Quantum computing has been an area of tech that growth investors have been targeting in recent years. In 2024, shares of Rigetti Computing soared more than 1,400%. While the enthusiasm has cooled of late given the long-term question marks and uncertainty around the business, quantum computing can have a significant and profound impact on the tech sector as a whole. But rather than investing in a small, risky stock such as Rigetti, a safer option to consider may be a big behemoth such as International Business Machines (NYSE: IBM). It's investing heavily in quantum computing, and it anticipates

How the page works
How to read the score
It describes the weighted balance of qualifying headlines. A score of 50 can mean balanced news or that there is not enough evidence; the status label explains which.
Confidence measures depth, source breadth, direct relevance, freshness and agreement. It does not rise merely because the tone is extreme.
Weekly price response, trend and fair-value position test whether the market is accepting or rejecting the news. They never rewrite the news score.
It measures news already published. It is not a forecast, recommendation or price target.
