Breadth shows how many companies share the same direction. A few extreme scores cannot make breadth look strong.
Confidence uses the amount of news, direct company matches, publisher variety, freshness and agreement. It is separate from direction.
Completed weekly prices show whether prices moved with or against the news. Price never changes the news score.
Company readings that do not pass the checks are excluded. A subgroup needs at least five companies before it is ranked.
