The balance of evidence
Different relationships deserve different follow-up questions.
30 points for positive four- and thirteen-week price direction; up to 30 for positive four-week closing pressure; 25 for the share of volume in advancing weeks; and 15 for recent relative volume when price and pressure are both positive. Fixed rules, not fitted to future returns.
Measure activity fairly
Latest volume is compared with the preceding 26-week median. Closing pressure weights each weekโs position inside its highโlow range by reported volume. Up-week volume uses close-to-close direction. Neither identifies buyers, sellers or institutional flows.
Coverage and refresh
Active stocks and ETFs with 53 consecutive valid weeks and no unresolved split in that window. Observations more than two weeks behind the publication target are excluded. Different exchanges may have different latest dates; every row shows its date. Weekly publications replace the prior edition only after a complete build.
ETFs can include leveraged and inverse exposure. Listings are counted separately, including cross-listings. Historical associations do not establish a trading edge; inspect a tickerโs comparison samples before drawing conclusions.
