Direction, agreement, durability and sensitivity
Four complementary questions, each with a distinct role in the research.
Direction
The Core Trend sets the primary positive, negative or neutral state.
Agreement
Faster and slower Trend views show whether directional pressure is broad or divided.
Durability
Trend age and recent flips distinguish established direction from frequent reversals.
Boundary
The Direction Boundary is the current price reference separating positive and negative Core Trend.
Core Trend
The primary state describes the established weekly price direction using continuous completed market history.
Sharemaestro context
Faster and slower Trend views, persistence, turnover, boundary distance and volatility show whether that state is broad, established, divided or fragile. They do not rewrite it.
Research priority
The ordering brings the most coherent and durable Trend states forward for research. It is not confidence, expected return or a promise of continuation.
Honest limitations
Trend effects can reverse, gap through boundaries and suffer repeated false turns. Historical outcome panels use only information available at each past observation and show their sample size rather than hiding uncertainty.
